Things to do

There are a great many things to do, places to go and sites to see here in the Lake District. This is by no means a definitive guide but we have listed here some of the places we have been and would happily recommend to others. As the area is famous for it’s stunning landscapes and magnificent walks we will try and add the rambles we have competed and what we think the difficulty is, as well as how long it took. Hopefully this will give you a little desire to walk in out footsteps – even if that is just to the local pub!

For a few more ideas why not take a look at our Keswick & the Northern lake District page.
